Red Hot Chili Peppers Start Recording in July

The Red Hot Chili Peppers will begin recording their 10th studio album in July. The band has been writing songs since October for the follow-up to 2006’s Stadium Arcadium. Rick Rubin, who has produced every Chili Peppers album starting with 1991’s Blood Sugar Sex Magik, is on board for the new album as well. With John Frusciante gone, Josh Klinghoffer is RHCP’s new primary guitarist. Not only will Josh be writing music with the band but he will also sing and play keyboard. The album is expected to be released sometime in 2011.
