Clapton to Release New Album in Fall

In his autobiography Clapton: The Autobiography, Eric Clapton wrote, “I have been out on the road all my life, and at the end of every tour, I swear it will be my last.” The guitar legend who was once proclaimed as “God” by his crazed fans has proved himself wrong (to answer his fans’ prayers).

Although he has yet to reveal news of an upcoming tour, Clapton just announced the release of his new studio album, ‘Clapton,’ which is set to hit the U.S. on September 28. The new album will consist of both new songs and covers. Clapton devotees who attended his most recent tour will have a sense of familiarity with this album, as Clapton and his band have performed two of the tracks, “Rocking Chair,” and “When Somebody Thinks You’re Wonderful,” during it.
