Interview with We Came As Romans

While the Detroit rockers We Came As Romans may be known for having a humorous side, what with recently uploading their own take on the hilarious “Harlem Shake” viral video craze, they take what they do very seriously. And it shows, as the band is reissuing their second full-length album, ‘Understanding What We’ve Grown to Be,’ with, arguably, their best tracks to date. On top of that, the metalcore act is now embarking on the Take Action Tour and preparing to go into the studio to record their next album, which will hopefully drop this summer, around the time they head out on Warped Tour. (Phew, that’s a lot.) With all of that in mind, it is no wonder 2013 seems to be shaping up to be their year. Of course, all work and no play makes WCAR dull boys, which is why David Stephens, Kyle Pavone, and Andy Glass found a moment to sit with us before their Dallas show to discuss a few things, such as the crazy videos they have planned, what it’s like to be a part of the Take Action Tour, and what to expect from their third album.
