A couple of years ago, a veil of anonymity hung over the Los Angeles-based band Sir Sly and now they’re on the fast track to making 2014 their year. Having already toured with St. Lucia, attended SXSW and just completed a near sold out tour with The 1975, the band has kept busy these first five months of 2014 and from the looks of it they don’t plan on slowing down. With more tours, festivals and the release of their debut album on the horizon, Sir Sly certainly isn’t going to be anonymous anymore.
With a sold out crowd waiting for them at the Nashville stop of the tour, keyboardist Jason Suwito and drummer Hayden Coplen found a few minutes to talk with us about the start of their band, tour and how their album is coming.
