Wooden Shjips – “Black Smoke Rise”

Wooden Shjips have released a music video for “Black Smoke Rise.” The grainy black-and-white video was directed by Miko Revereza and depicts a man roaming around with a Coke bottle. The song is taken from the band’s new LP, ‘West,’ which hits stores on September 13 via Thrill Jockey Records. A deluxe version of the record will also be available. The deluxe edition will include a blue vinyl pressing of ‘West,’ a 7″ featuring the non-album track “Phonograph” and a remix of the album track “Looking Out” by Peaking Lights, and a tote bag.

In support of their upcoming album, the space rock outfit have lined up dates in North America. All of the August dates are free with RSVP. Head here for more information.
