Vanilla Fudge Perform on Jimmy Fallon

Last night, Vanilla Fudge performed “You Keep Me Hangin’ On,” a song originally recorded by The Supremes in 1966, on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. The song has been covered throughout the years by a myriad of artists, including Rod Stewart, Mary Wilson, Gov’t Mule, Wilson Pickett, The Box Tops, and Reba McEntire. Vanilla Fudge’s 1967 remake of the song, which was their first single, went to #6 on the Hot 100 Chart.

Vanilla Fudge’s new 4-disc box set, ‘Box of Fudge,’ is out now. The collection contains selections from the group’s self-titled debut, ‘The Beat Goes On’ (1968), ‘Renaissance’ (1968), ‘Near The Beginning’ (1969), ‘Rock And Roll’ (1969) and ‘Mystery’ (1984), as well as a bundle of previously unreleased tracks and recordings.
