Legendary British songwriter Ray Davies performed The Kinks’ song “Till the End of the Day” on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night; Los Angeles indie rock band The 88 backed him up.
Davies is currently promoting ‘See My Friends,’ an album on which he re-recorded new versions of classic Kinks songs with artists as diverse as Bruce Springsteen, Metallica, the late Alex Chilton of Big Star, Lucinda Williams, Billy Corgan, Black Francis, and The 88. ‘See My Friends’ is available through iTunes and other major retailers.
