Journey, Foreigner and Styx to Tour U.K. in 2011

Journey, Foreigner and Styx will be performing together in five cities in the U.K. for the first time.

Foreigner guitarist Mick Jones commented, “This will be one of the main events of the summer. Bands who represent the magic era in classic rock together for the first time in my home country. Get ready to rock!”

The tour doesn’t start until June 2011, but the bands are already excited about venturing on the road together. Styx guitarist James ‘JY’ Young recently remarked, “Styx has always enjoyed sharing the stage with Journey, going back to the Santa Monica Civic Center in 1976. The tour we did with them in 2003 across the United States was an amazing success of sold-out arenas. Journey, Foreigner and Styx seems like a can’t-miss ‘guitars a-blazin’, vocals amazin’ kind of a classic rock evening.”

“We’re so excited to be coming back to the UK to play arenas with our friends Foreigner and Styx. Be prepared to hear a lot of hit songs,” said Journey guitarist Neal Schon.

Tickets are available through starting at 9 A.M. on Friday, November 12.

Tour Dates:

June 04 – London, UK – Wembley Arena
June 05 – Birmingham, UK – NIA
June 07 – Newcastle, UK – Metro Radio Arena
June 08 – Manchester, UK – Evening News Arena
June 09 – Glasgow, UK – SECC

  • Don't forget about Journey. Best f***in' band EVER!!!!!

Journey, with there third sound alike singer since Perry left, Foreigner with 1 original member, and Styx with a singer that sounds like Alvin from Alvin and the Chipmunks. I will say that Journey does sound good with the singer they have now, sounds very much like Perry, if you blind folded yourself and listened, you would think it was Perry, to bad it isn't. I am not a big Foreigner fan, they had one or two songs that are noticebal on radio, and Styx……..ALVIN!!!!!!! need I say more. The guy sounds like he has post nasel drip problems. Styx was once a great band, but in 99, I lost respect for most of them that are still in the band today.

Go see them if you want too.

Hater…..Journey, foreigner, and styx have all still got it! By the sound of your name you are a big deyoung fan. Build a bridge and get over it! STYX is one of the best hard rocking bands on the planet and Lawrence Gowan is an amazing singer and performer. This will be a great concert for the folks in the U.K! I wish this same tour would hit Canada and the United States. You are welcome to go see deyoung play for free at the local ribfest if you like! In the words of Tommy Shaw…"jealousy got a hold of me".
