Textures have revealed “Reaching Home,” a new song from their upcoming fourth album, ‘Dualism.’ The album and “Reaching Home” feature vocalist Daniel de Jongh and keyboardist Uri Dijk’s first recorded performances with the band since they joined in 2010.
Speaking to Revolver, drummer Stef Broks said, “The song is about finding a way back to innocence. The person speaking in the lyrics is struggling his way through life, passing by melancholic moments of looking back, clear moments of present time, and hopeful moments of looking forward. Home is where this person’s longing for; but does home lie in living, in only his thoughts, or in surrendering to passing away?”
‘Dualism’ drops in Europe, South America, Australia and Asia on September 23 and in North America on September 27 through Nuclear Blast Records.
