Wilco Forms Label, Announces Tour

Alt-rock experimentalists Wilco have announced the creation of dBpm Records, in partnership with Silver Lake’s Anti- Records. Anti-, who will distribute and market dBpm’s releases, is home to Tom Waits, Grinderman, Neko Case and Roky Erickson, among others. dBpm will “release all future Wilco recordings and more,” according to a statement from the band. Tom Margherita, Wilco’s manager, will run the label.

Wilco are working on a new record at The Loft, their studio in Chicago, which may very well become dBpm’s first release. As of yet, no dBpm releases have been officially announced.
