Whitesnake Detail ‘Live At Donington 1990’

Whitesnake will release a new concert CD/DVD set entitled ‘Live At Donington 1990’ on June 3 in Europe and June 7 in North America via Frontiers Records.

‘Live At Donington 1990’ was filmed and recorded on the band’s “Liquor & Poker World Tour” on August 18, 1990 at Monsters of Rock at Castle Donington (now known as the Download Festival).

Performing in front of more than 70,000 fans, the 1990 Whitesnake lineup, which included guitarists Steve Vai and Adrian Vandenberg, bassist Rudy Sarzo, drummer Tommy Aldridge and vocalist David Coverdale, belted out 17 solid tunes.

In addition to fan favorites, the ‘Live At Donington 1990’ DVD also includes a gallery of unreleased stills of the band on the “Liquor & Poker World Tour,” and a behind-the-scenes documentary of the making-of the ‘Slip Of The Tongue’ album.
