Frankie Banali, drummer of Quiet Riot, is in the midst of putting together a full-length behind the scenes documentary about the group from the first time he and vocalist Kevin DuBrow crossed paths in January of 1980 to DuBrow’s untimely passing in November of 2007.
The video footage will also include many never before seen live performances, backstage footage, sound checks, studio sessions and interviews.
Banali has set up an online fundraiser using Kickstarter and is asking for fans to help out with the project and reach its full potential.
The fundraiser has already begun and will end on September 2nd. Donate as little as $10 and get access to all updates, a custom promo rock badge, movie sticker, personalized signed 8×10 photo of Frankie Banali and a Special Thanks on the film’s website.
The more you donate the more rewards you get, so check out the fundraiser and help support the project so that Kevin DuBrow and Quiet Riot may receive this much-deserved video retrospective of their contribution to heavy metal.
