After more than a decade together, Oceansize have decided to part ways.
The Manchester five-piece released the following statement on their website:
“We regret to inform you that Oceansize has split up. An explanation for this occurrence is neither forthcoming or indeed necessary. All that remains is to say thank you for being there for us. It’s been a very eventful and life-affirming 12 years. We’ll miss you. There will be more music from each of us as soon as possible.”
Forming in 1998, Oceansize released a total of four full-length albums. The band’s last studio record, ‘Self Preserved While the Bodies Float Up,’ was released in September 2010.
