Man Overboard have revealed that Jesse Cannon and New Found Glory guitarist Steve Klein will be co-producing their forthcoming record. The pop punk act are gearing up to enter the studio in June and release their album in September through Rise Records.
The band issued the following statement:
“Since we got home from the PMA Tour with Senses Fail we have been keeping it pretty quiet (for us), apart from our appearance at Bamboozle and the release of our new compilation The Human Highlight Reel on Tuesday. In this time we have been held up in Nik’s Small Hill Recording Studio demoing for our new LP that will be out this fall on Rise Records. Right now we have 17 demos and counting that we will narrow down before we start recording in early June. With all of that said, we are happy to announce that this album will be co-produced by Steve Klein and Jesse Cannon. Steve writes, records and tours in New Found Glory and Jesse has produced all of our previous material as well as countless other groups. Both of these guys bring different things to the production table and we could not be more excited to have them both in the control room telling us how we suck and make the songs the best they can. We will start tracking this album in early June and finish up right before we head to Europe with Polar Bear Club. The album will see a September release Rise Records.”
