Journey to Release ‘Eclipse’ in May

Journey are set to release their new album ‘Eclipse’ in the US and Canada on May 24 exclusively at Walmart, and beginning June 3 in Europe via Frontiers Records.

“I’m in love with this record, which I haven’t said about one of our albums for a long time,” remarked founding member and lead guitarist Neal Schon in a press statement. “It’s a rock record and it sounds amazing.”

The 12-track album, which will be the band’s second studio effort with lead singer Arnel Pineda, was written over the past 18 months by Schon and keyboardist Jonathan Cain, with input from Pineda.

Following the release of ‘Eclipse,’ Journey will hit the road with Foreigner and Night Ranger in the US.

I saw Journey in August of 2009 for Revelation tour. It was AWESOME! Please add one more stop on your tour! Please PLEASE PLEASE come to Tulsa! We have the BOK Center (you were there). It’s a great venue, Tulsa LOVES Journey, and heck if we can have Final Four here, why not? Please PLEASE come to Tulsa, or at least OK City? Thanks, Katie

Watched and heard some of their songs via youtube. Personally, “City of Hope” is my favorite, very much a Journey song. I also like “Human Feel”, especially the drums intro of Deen. Long live, Journey! When will it be released in Asia?
