Garbage to Self-Release New Studio Album in May

It’s been seven years since Garbage last released an album, but the wait is coming to an end. ‘Not Your Kind of People’ will drop May 15 via the band’s own label, Stunvolume. It’s the first of their studio albums to be recorded outside of Madison, WI. As previously reported, everything was mangled together at Red Razor Sounds in the Atwater Village area of Los Angeles, CA.

“We got together with no agenda other than to just jam a little bit, fuck around and see what we came up with, and it was inspiring,” drummer/producer Butch Vig told Rolling Stone last year. “I think you can hear some energy and a vibe in the tracks that sounds refreshing, a little bit more to me like the first two records.”
