Fans Get a Chance to Collaborate with Street Drum Corps

Los Angeles punk rock percussion band Street Drum Corps (SDC) has taken the next step in including their fans in their work. SDC is offering their fans the opportunity to submit overdubs and remixes of the band’s song, “Knock Me Out.”

SDC teamed up with The Public Record, the latest social and interactive recording company, to make this collaboration possible. Fans have the chance to submit their remixes through October 5th. The band will be making video commentaries on the submissions throughout the contest, hand-selecting the winners soon after the submission date.

“We are excited to partner with The Public Record to experience working on our new track with Street Drum Corps fans across the world,” said band member Frank Zummo. “This will be a truly amazing experience!”

SDC consists of the ultimate trio – Bobby Alt, Adam Alt, and Frank Zummo. They have blown fans away at Bamboozle and Vans Warped Tour, and have worked with alternative rock band 30 Seconds To Mars.

Considering that SDC uses kitchenware and garbage cans in their performances, it is safe to say that the band is very open-minded and looking for creativity in their submissions. Check out their official website at www.streetdrumcorps.com for more information!
