They’re back! In case you haven’t heard by now, legendary English rockers Black Sabbath have resurfaced with their original lineup: vocalist Ozzy Osbourne, guitarist Tony Iommi, drummer Bill Ward, and bassist Geezer Butler. Appearing at the Whisky a Go Go in West Hollywood, CA on November 11, the band revealed that they are planning on making their first new studio album in 33 years, with a little help from producer Rick Rubin. The record is expected to be released in the fall of 2012 via Vertigo/Universal Records.
In addition, the group have confirmed that they will perform at the Download Festival in England in June. Ultimate Classic Rock reports that the reunion is predicted to bring in roughly $160 million for the band.
