Bill Wyman Surprises Crowd by Joining Micki Free at Hard Rock Calling

Rolling Stones’ bassist Bill Wyman pleasantly surprised the audience at this past weekend’s Hard Rock Calling festival in London’s Hyde Park by joining grammy-winning singer Micki Free on stage!

The rock duo’s set list included the Rolling Stones’ “Jumpin’ Jack Flash” and Jimi Hendrix’s “Red House,” and was described by Absoluteradio.com as “the best double act of the weekend.” The duo seems to agree that collaborations are best for both of their careers and explained to Absoluteradio.com that there will definitely be recording plans between the two in the future. Until then, Free is concentrating on promoting his new album, Micki Free American Horse, which was released in the U.K. today (it will be released in the U.S. on July 20).

Stay tuned to Rock Edition to find out when Free and Wyman’s next collaboration will be!
